AIRWIRE900 AW9D10 Receiver/Decoder
|
The AW9D10 wireless receiver with built in 10 Amp motor driver mounts inside a locomotive or car to receive wireless commands and power the motor with an external battery pack.
The complete module is easily installed and measures only 1.43 x 4.23 inches.
An optional kit provides cables and connectors to allow the board to be split in half for easier mounting into tight spaces.
The wireless receiver section offers superb reception and needs only a short 3 inch antenna which is included.
The small flexible antenna can be hidden away inside a car or look perfectly natural mounted on the roof of the locomotive.
It can be bent or formed to fit inside cramped spaces.
The motor driver section features cool running at high output currents.
It can easily drive two motors or a single big motor.
The peak output current of 10 Amps can be supplied even during the height of summertime temperatures.
Three auxiliary outputs offer fully protected front and rear headlamp drivers, and a protected 2.5 Amp driver for a smoke generator.
It can also be used to power other high current loads.
An auxiliary DCC booster, rated at 1 amp, provides a DCC signal suitable for function decoders and sound decoders.
The auxiliary booster output is compatible with any NMRA-DCC compatible decoder.
The primary software chip is socketed to allow for fast and easy upgrades.
