This inexpensive booster is included with all our starter systems.
It comes without any chassis and is designed to mount under the layout.
Connections are by way of standard 6 conductor modular cable.
The Booster-3 requires an external source of 16-18 VAC and should be rated at 5 Amps.
When connected to a standard power pack’s AC terminals, the maximum output current is about 2 Amps (limited by the power pack).
For higher output current, use our heavy duty booster transformer.
We recommend our PS5 power supply.
