Sensitive Receiver Provides Optimum Signal Reception
The RX900 uses an advanced technology 900 MHz receiver for error free reception.
The small 3.5 inch antenna has been carefully tuned and works equally well indoors or outdoors.
The RX900 uses sophisticated error detection software to provide error free reception.
Use SCAN Mode For Fast Throttle Response Time
When set for the SCAN mode, the eight available frequencies are scanned about 10 times per seconds.
In this mode, each throttle is set to one of eight frequencies.
Since each throttle has a dedicated frequency, response time is optimized and there is never any interference from other throttles.
This mode is perfect for a modest size layout where no more than 8 throttles will be used simultaneously.
Use BURST Mode For More Than Eight Throttles
When set for the Burst Mode, up to eight throttles share a single unique frequency.
Both the throttles and the RX900 use the same, unique frequency.
This frequency is programmed into the RX900 with the convenient switches located on the front panel.
A second set of 8 throttles and another RX900 receiver can be set to a different frequency.
Since each group of 8 throttles are on differenct frequencies, there is no interference between groups.
This mode allows up to 56 throttles to be used simultaneously.
The tradeoff is slower response time as the number of throttles per receiver frequency increases.

Easy Setup
All setup switches are readily available on the front panel.
You can select from the different options or change them at any time without opening the chassis.
Easy Connection To Your System
The RX900 can plug right into your existing system's throttle bus without any changes.
This handy feature is helpful while determining the RX900's location having the best overall reception - perfect for clubs and modular layouts.
Once selected, you can use the F-jack for a permanent bus connection.
If you are not using plug-in throttles, the 6 conductor modular jack provides a quick connection direct to your Command Station.
Use Along With Plug-In Throttles - Or Not!
Wireless throttles may be used alone or right along with your existing plug-in throttles without any changes.
For new installations, you my choose to use only wireless throttles and enjoy the freedom of no throttle bus wiring.
Secondary Basestation For Extended Range
For very large layouts exceeding the range of the throttles, you may want to consider the use of a secondary basestation.
Although it looks similar to a standard basestation, it has special software.
This software allows it to be interrogated separately so that the two basestations don't conflict with each other.
Give us a call if a secondary unit might be necessary so we can evaluate your requirements.
