EASYDCC Throttle Extender/Throttle Bus Driver
|
The circuit board that drives your throttle bus is called an "Extender", which is short for Throttle Bus Extender Board.
It is designed to mount under the layout near the Command Station.
The Extender connects to the Command Station with the included modular cable.
The Extender circuit supplies the power for about 100 feet of coaxial cable and 10 throttles and fascia plates.
If more than 10 tethered walk-around throttles are to be used, additional Extenders may be added.
There is no limit to the number of Extenders that may be used.
The Extender is protected against short circuits.
It comes with a 7 foot modular cable, twist-on connector and terminating resistor.
We recommend the 12VT plug transformer (sold separately) to power the Extender.
The Extender is also available as an easy to assemble kit.
