RAILCOMMAND Cabling: Throttle Bus Wiring Accessories

Wiring for all of RAILCOMMAND's throttles and Auxiliary Power Stations (APS) is accomplished with inexpensive and readily available coaxial cable and connectors.
No soldering is required and no special crimping tools are necessary to attach the coax to the connectors.
RG58/U cable is recommended for both throttles and Auxiliary Power Station cabling.
Other types of cables and twisted pair wires may work but are not recommended for long wire runs.
Attaching the connector is a simple 3 step process:
1. Strip back the outer cable insulation and inner conductor;
2. Push the copper braid back over the outer insulation;
3. Twist on the connector until tight.
