In some cases an adapter cable may be needed.
Illustrated instructions come with each EASYDCC component.

The high current Power Supply cannot be used on a base unit.
However, it may be used as a Booster-10 power source.
Not recommended, not compatible or not supported.

This usually means there is some compatibility, but it may be only partial, or require special software, or need a special cable or may not be fully checked out.
The Booster-5 and Booster-10 include a modular Telco-Style 6-conductor cable which may be used to construct a suitable cable.

These two cables ARE NOT interchangeable.
